Tucson Az Run 4-15-08 Day 4

On Tuesday, 4-15-08, we ran up to Gates Pass. On the way we passed the mountain you see the the background of 85% of the westerns ever filmed. Old Tuscon, where a lot of the westerns were filmed, lies out in the desert off the base of the mountain. This is a pic of the mountain. REMEMBER: if ya want to see it larger, click on the pic..

The Firkin & Friar Pub in Tuscon has a British Bike Night on Tuesday Nights. All the guys with British bikes and those not on British bikes go there and look at the bikes and eat and mingle..this is the Pub sign..

All Triumphs of one size or another..Bill also has an 08 Triumph 900 he rides..There are pics of all of Bills bikes throughout the blog..He has a Harley Sportster, Harley Fatboy, Triumph 900. and a 73 Kawasaki Z-1 in original condition. He rode that when we rode from Texas to California in 1976..
