PGR Send Off Mission 8 Jun 08

On Sunday, 8 Jun 08, in addition to the PGR Meet & Greet in Seymour Texas, there was a request for the PGR to escort a convoy from Dallas to Ft. Sill Oklahoma, as the 2/149 Aviation Gp had been activated and was being deployed to Iraq. The Dallas PGR was escorting the convoy to Bowie Texas, 50 miles South of Wichita Falls. The Wichita Falls PGR contingency would escort the convoy from Bowie Texas to Lawton Oklahoma where Ft. Sill was located. The Wichita Falls PGR would then ride to Seymour Texas. So our guys went 50 miles to Bowie, 100 miles from Bowie to Ft. Sill, 100 miles from Ft. Sill to Seymour and 50 miles from Seymour back to Wichita Falls. They put in a full days riding but that is what its all about. Some of us did not do the convoy duty but went straight to Seymour Texas. The PGR members that did go on the convoy mission deserve a hearty Well Done!!!! Mike went on the mission and he emailed me the following photo's and gave me permission to use them in this post. Mike's wife, Barbara, took the photo's and did a great job! If you want to know more about the PGR & what we do & stand for, click on the following link: http://www.patriotguard.org/ So, without further ado, scroll down and see the post & our fellow PGR members.
