We continue down Ok 49 toward Mt. Scott, our first destination..Pictured are me in the lead, Christina and then Clint.. That is Mt. Scott in front of us..

We are approaching the entrance to Mt. Scott.

We turn into the entrance to Mt. Scott to begin our ascent up the mountain.

The flat road is fixin' to change to an up slope...

We start the ride up.. This is a scenic ride up the mountain, and I recommend a trip up Mt. Scott on your motorcycle if you ever are in the area. If you are on I-44, just take the Medicine Park Exit (OK 49), just North of Lawton & Ft. Sill Oklahoma. Turn West on Ok 49 and it will take you right to it..

I believe the elevation is only 2,429 ' but when everything else is flatland, it's a good ways up..

A view from near the summit. This is looking West at more of the Wichita Mountains..I was told that the Wichita Mountains are the foothills to the Rockies...Whether or not that is true, I don't know...

As we start down, we get behind this motorhome that was barely moving.

Once down, we continued West on Ok 49 to the Meers cutoff.

We arrive at Meers. We park in front of Meers & head in for one of their legendary Longhorn beef hamburgers. http://www.meersstore.com/

We leave Meers and take the backway to Chaps My Ass. I had never been this way before & it was all curves
