Blue Knights "Beat The Heat" Ride 8-9-08 The Forgotten Pictures

I had just finished putting on the posts of the Blue Knights Tx XX "Beat The Heat" Ride, 8-9-08, and was going back over the pictures I had taken today and I found a group of them I totally missed. Not only do I have CRS but now apparently I can't see too well either..Oh well, sorry about that..Scroll down and see the pictures I forgot to put on Part I & Part II. REMEMBER: IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE PICTURES BIGGER, JUST CLICK ON THE PICTURE..

Here are Greg's blue Harley & Vicki's new white Harley at the Country Cafe in Throckmorton Texas. They had to park on the side as we took up all the parking space out front...

When we left the Country Cafe, we pulled around the corner to the Allsup's so some of the folks could gas up..Here is Paul, with clenched fist, Mark & Cathy and Mike & Mitchell.

Mark & Cathy, totally relaxed....

Bobby on his Harley & Steve C on his Harley..

Here is Christina joining back up after gassing up. She sure can handle that V-Rod...

Here is Joe, Christina's husband, joining back up..

Here is Joe coming over to the line from the pumps..

Sissy, waiting at the station..

Lance & Wade. They drove back to Archer City to talk to a business owner about an employee who did not know how to drive...To say the least..

Mitchell & Mike...Mitchell was pretty quiet today but should open up as he gets to know us..He appeared to have a good time though

Paul on his new Harley and Mark & Cathy kicked back on their Harley behind him

After we left the group, seven of us went to the DQ in Holliday Texas..Here are Sissy's & my bike in the DQ lot.

Fixin' to leave the DQ are Steve D, Robert & Mike

Another view of Robbie, Mike Janis, Robert & Steve

On the way home. a Mustang had run over a dog right near Van & Trish's back drive. The Mustang fled the scene. Trish took control of the situation, told me which way the Mustang had gone and I was off..I located the Mustang, & had the kid driving it, come back to the scene. The injured dog was taken to the vet and all was well with the world again. Trish, in the meantime, has gained a new nickname. Van has bestowed the nickname of "The Dog Whisperer" upon her. Here is Trish & Van.

Here is Van waxing down his Harley for the Summer Blast thing in Vernon Texas tonight..

And, the last shot of the day, Van's gas tank on his Harley. Wanted to show the Police Special Edition logo on it..

Ok, that is it for the days pictures. Please forgive my oversight as it will more than likely happen again and again. I am old ya know!! Scroll down for more rides, events & posts and don't forget to click on the "older posts" link at the bottom or EACH page for more posts, back to Jan. 08. Until next ride & post, ya'll be careful out there, ride safe & keep the rubber on the road.......JOHN
