Blue Knights Tx XX "Beat The Heat" Ride 8-9-08 David's Pics

On Saturday, 8-9-08, the Blue Knights Tx XX, had its "Beat The Heat" Ride to Throckmorton, Texas. David sent me his pictures of the ride and has given me permission to use them on this post. This is Chris & Greg. Greg was our tail gunner for this ride and did an outstanding job as always.

This is Mike & Robbie..They are a riot to be around. Robbie has her own set of pink leathers.

This is Mitchell & Mike. Mitchell was a little quiet this trip but I think he will open up more as he gets to know us..

This is Paul an his brand new Harley. Paul was my partner for several years in the traffic office as accident investigator

Here is Rodney & Rianne, his daughter. She is on almost all the rides with us..She loves that Harley....and her daddy, of course..

This is Steve C. Steve is another Road Captain in the Blue Knights Tx XX chapter.

This is Steve D, Sissy's husband. He is a very dedicated biker..Works all day in the hot sun & then rides in the hot sun when he gets off..That's what it's all about..

Here we are pulling into the city of Throckmorton, Texas.

This is Steve G. He took a bunch of pictures also and will shown on a couple of posts from now. He is riding a Valkyrie..Thing has 6 exhaust pipes and is quick.

Here is Vicki on her new Harley. She is Rodney's wife, and a lot of fun to be around. She also knows those back roads, so I hope her & Rodney put a ride together for us.

This is Wade & Lance (helmet). I don't know Wade but Lance is a great guy and is funnier than all get out..

We missed our turn in Throckmorton and had to make a U-turn..Here are the bikes going back the other way.

Finally got to the Country Cafe for breakfast. That is Mike is the yellow shirt and Rodney standing with helmet off.
