Run To The Feedlot, Burkburnett Texas 8-10-08

Today, Sunday, 8-10-08, I talked to Rodney & Vicki and we decided to ride the motorcycles up to Burkburnett, Texas and eat at The Feedlot for dinner. On Sunday's The Feedlot has all you can eat catfish for $9.99 and we all love catfish. There were thunderstorms in the area and one storm tracking to the southeast less than a half mile from our house...But, we went anyway. Scroll down and check out the Run To The Feedlot post and REMEMBER: IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE PICTURE BIGGER, JUST CLICK ON THE PICTURE.

The storm to the Southwest of us was producing quite a bit of lightning. Tried to get a picture of some but was too slow..

Ms Clone stood ready & waiting in the garage for our decision..Do we go or stay..

Here is the rain just south of the house. Looks to be over Lake Wichita, which is about 1/2 mile or less south.

As we waited, we heard Harley's and then Vicki & Rodney came around the corner...

Here they come into the cul-de-sac circle..

Here is Vicki on her new Harley..

Janice took this picture of Rianne & Rodney as we were Northbound on FM369. She took a picture of Vicki but it didn't turn out...

We arrive at The Feedlot Restaurant in Burkburnett Texas..

Here are the bikes in the parking lot of The Feedlot. Vicki's white Harley, Ms Clone, and Rodney's blue Harley

The table: Janice, Rodney, Vicki & Rianne...

Me and Janice...She may start collecting frequent flyer points for being on the bike..Heck, this makes 3 times in the last two months!! To be fair, she doesn't handle heat well & can't ride when it's 105 degrees out like I do..

Here is Rianne, Rodney & Vicki's daughter. She is 13 and goes with Rodney & Vicki on most of our rides and then some..She is a good kid. Excuse me, young lady....

The sequenced kiss....Vicki moving in....

Vicki getting closer as Rodney puckers up....

Ladies & Gentlemen!!!! We have contact!!!!! Feel the love.....

Do you think Rianne was embarrassed? Looks like it to me...Geez Rianne, ya just can't take your folks out anywhere, right?

As we leave the Feedlot, we notice a trike and black Harley (between the trike & the truck) have joined our ranks..

Rianne is ready to go as Rodney checks out the Harley..I thought it was Lance's bike at first, from where I was standing, but Rodney said it didn't have black pipes and it was way too dirty to be Lance's. Lance keeps his bikes in spotless condition...

Janice by the bike getting ready to go..She is color coordinated...

Vicki looking for her sunglasses just prior to departure from The Feedlot.

This will conclude this short post. We had a nice short ride & had a good dinner with good friends and we look forward to being with and riding with Rodney, Vicki & Rianne again. They are very special friends.

Scroll down for more rides, events and posts. Don't forget to click on the "older posts" link on the bottom of EACH page for more rides, events & posts, back to January 2008. Until next ride/post, ya'll be careful out there, ride safe and keep the rubber on the road............JOHN
